My name is Jason Chapman and when I started this site I wanted to, as with Andrew Revkin‘s blog, bring attention to the human impact on the Earth. I hoped to do that with photography.

After struggling for a year to define my contribution to this effort I came to the conclusion that these impacts are largely out of my depth as far as access to the science and stories are concerned so I will bide my time and share the projects of working documentary photographers here.

Whenever possible I will include my own photo essays or singles.
